Snowfields Yard, Southwark

Client

Crest Nicholson London

The redevelopment of this site in the shadow of the Shard creates a residential-led, mixed use development, which combines parts of the existing building with new build insertions. It contains a mix of uses including private and affordable residential apartments, commercial space, enhanced community facilities for the Church, and the relocated Manna Centre - a day centre for the homeless - in a purpose designed new facility on site.

The development creates 37 high quality residential 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with private balconies and roof terraces, of which 28 units are private sale and 9 are affordable. The residential part of this development is Code 4 for Sustainable Homes, and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ for the non-residential elements.

Awards

New London Awards 2018 - Finalist (Mixed-Use);
The Sunday Times British Home Awards 2017 – Highly Commended (Mixed Use);
Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2017 - Highly Commended – (Best Small Development)
