Completed in July 2005, this development is situated within a high residential area in Southampton Street, Reading. Saunders Partnership was commissioned to produce construction drawings for this high density stand along development.
The scheme lead by Crest Nicholson consists of both houses and flats for sale as well as flats for rent, brought about via a S.106 obligation for social housing units as part of the planning permission. The most prominent part of the scheme as indicated via the computer generated images was for 70 flats in a single block in a mix from 3 to 6 storeys high with basement car parking.
Saunders Partnership brief was to develop the planning approved scheme into full construction issue drawings in line with Crest’s internal specifications for the units for sale and Housing Corporation guidelines and associated publications for the social units.
