MELIOR STREET

The redevelopment of Melior Street is a residentially-led mixed use development which combines the parts of the existing building with new build, and contains a mix of uses including private and affordable residential, commercial space, enhanced community facilities for the Church, as well as re-locating the Manna Centre, a day centre for the homeless, on-site in a purpose designed new facility. The development will create 37 no. high quality residential units - a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with private amenity space in the form of balconies and roof terraces, of which 28 no. units will be private and 9 no. units will be affordable. 4 no. commercial units and improved Manna Centre and Church facilities will also be provided.
A private courtyard will be at the centre of the proposal with communal roof terraces at upper levels.
The residential part of this development will be code 4 for Sustainable Homes
