Clovelly House, Enfield

The house was designed to replace an existing cottage built on a 3 acre site on former grazing land.
Change of use was first obtained to increase the size of the residential building plot and then the house was designed to be split level to exploit the slope of the site and exploit the views of the wood from all rooms.
The house consisted of a large double height dual aspect open plan hall/dining room and lounge with a dual aspect open fire separating the lounge and dining room.
Four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, utility room and a study were also provided. Finishes were minimalist and modern with Welsh slate and timber floors, white walls and oak doors and detailing. The scheme was completed within budget.
